We're pleased to share our latest project, Russian Hill Pied-à-Terre, a San Francisco residence that brings together East Coast living and contemporary West Coast attitude.
As New Yorkers who summer in Nantucket, our clients created a new home in California to be close to family. Their space needed to feel sophisticated yet comfortable, while prioritizing visits with their grandchildren.
We layered new pieces with contemporary details alongside a select collection of existing furnishings to create a cohesive, beautiful interior. Throughout the home, natural light and sweeping views of San Francisco connect the interiors to the surrounding cityscape.
Working with our clients over the course of a year was a true collaboration. Their discerning eye, love of color, and high standards pushed us creatively, while introducing us to talented East Coast artisans whose work we were excited to bring into the home. Our design backgrounds brought different perspectives to the table, a shared respect for one another’s ideas allowed us to blend our approaches and create something uniquely our own.
The resulting space is a refined, welcoming retreat that honors our clients’ East Coast roots while embracing their West Coast lifestyle.
